Christina Johansen

Christina obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in the Family Nurse Practitioner program from Grand Canyon University. She has been in medicine for 15 years, total.

Prior to joining YBA, Christina worked as an inpatient nurse at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ. She worked in the transplant unit as well as the step-down ICU. After earning her Nurse Practitioner license, she was trained by Dr. DeRosa in bioidentical hormone therapy for men and women along with thyroid management. During her next endeavor, she helped open a state-of-the-art urgent care for one of the largest family practices in Fort Collins, CO. She would later manage care for City of Fort Collins employees and their dependents.
